New life after death thanks to sperm donation?

This is undoubtedly a strong choice. The  sperm donation after death , according to two British bioethicists, besides being possible must be considered admissible even.

The study of the two English bioethicists comes to the conclusion that in addition to organ donation following death, sperm would also be possible. According to the two scholars, men in the UK should be left free to decide about the possibility of donating their seminal fluid on the point of death. Technically the operation would be possible and, moreover, it would also be valid from  an ethical point of view  as sperm donors are in small numbers while demand is growing strongly.

This practice, in addition to giving a further possibility to couples who have difficulty having children, would also allow for greater seed diversity , guaranteeing a differentiation of the ethnic characteristics of the donors. The donation of the semen would also ensure the donor a sort of psychological well-being; the reason can be traced back to two cases, that is to take an action to help other people and to make sure that their genetic line continues.

Furthermore, it should not be believed that taking sperm after the donor’s death is dangerous. In fact, several studies have shown that sperm collected up to 48 hours after this sad event is able to guarantee successful pregnancies; to this must be added the fact that a genetic screening would be carried out in any case to avoid any alterations.
