Visible inside the building
These are water tanks placed inside houses on shelves or mezzanines inside bathrooms, kitchens or other rooms. Sometimes the tanks are accessible through doors or removable panels. In the basements or basements there are drain pipes and sewage collectors in asbestos cement.

Not visible inside the building
Drain pipes or flue pipes in asbestos cement can be contained inside the cavities found mainly in kitchens and bathrooms. In the case of drain pipes, the presence of inspection doors located under the ceiling is frequent.

Visible outside the building
This is the case of drain pipes, water tanks, flues, pots and planters. All these artifacts can be found on balconies, terraces or on the elevations of buildings not far from balconies and windows. Frequent is the case of water tanks or expansion vessels on the flat roofs when thermal power plants are present both active and not in use. Then there are the roofs that form part of the structure of the building or cover balconies, terraces and verandas. Sometimes asbestos cement pipes have been used as formwork for pillars with supporting structure or dividing posts, for example inside condominiums.
- Close to the building
Other cases of asbestos close to the buildings should not be considered. Sometimes it may be located a few meters from balconies, windows or areas frequented by people. This is the case, for example, of garage roofs, industrial warehouse roofs or warehouses.
